The first two engines are traditional fuel-powered engines. The standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine provides 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque, along with 3,500 pounds of max towing capability when properly equipped. Meanwhile, the available 3.6L DOHC V6 engine delivers an extra kick with 308 horsepower, 275 lb-ft of torque, and up to 7,000 pounds of towing capability when properly equipped.

The third option is the diesel-powered Duramax® 2.8L Turbo-Diesel engine, which delivers 181 horsepower and a whopping 369 lb-ft of torque. This engine was made for towing, boasting a 7,700-pound max towing capacity when properly equipped. Plus, by achieving an EPA-estimated 20 city/30 highway/23 combined MPG, it’s also the most efficient choice.

These engines come paired with either a standard 6-speed automatic transmission or an available 8-speed automatic transmission. To help keep your ride smooth and keep you in control, all models are available in a 4-wheel drive configuration.

Inside the Chevy Colorado, you’ll find a roomy, modern interior with seating for up to five passengers. Get comfy in cloth, leatherette, or leather-appointed seat trim and available heated front seats. You’ll have plenty of room to stretch out on long hauls with 45 inches of front legroom and 35.8 inches of rear legroom.
