The Versatile, Stylish New 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is a New Haven Family Favorite
Why should I buy a new Equinox in New Hudson? The Equinox is one of Chevrolet's best-selling vehicles behind the Silverado lineup, and it's long been a top choice of Chevy fans in Ann Arbor and families in Farmington Hills who want a spacious, smart, and fun-to-drive crossover that's as easy on your commute as it is on the eyes. 2018 Features and Trim Levels
The Equinox has been redesigned completely for 2018, and offers four trim levels for Howell drivers to choose from: L, LS, LT, and Premier. At the tip-top, the 2018 Equinox Premier is stunningly well-equipped with an Infotainment package (eight-inch touchscreen, added USB ports), a Confidence and Convenience package (rear parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, auto climate control, power liftgate, remote start, heated front seats), and luxury features like a hands-free liftgate, perforated breathable leather upholstery, and wireless charging. Additional Confidence and Convenience II package and Sun, Sound and Navigation package can also be added for an even wider array of options. 2018 Equinox LT and LS are more value-packed options, offering fewer features but a much more affordable price.
Performance and Capability
The 2018 Equinox isn't the most powerful crossover in its class, but its new redesign has made it a more efficient, lighter performer in the ranks--which makes it a particularly tempting choice for Brighton drivers with a commute. 1.5L and 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engines come standard/optional across the lineup, with a horsepower range of 170 HP - 252 HP. New for 2018, the Equinox will offer a 1.6-liter diesel engine, with 240 pound-feet of torque and up to 39 mpg on the highway. All-Wheel Drive is available on 2018 Equinox LS, LT, and Premier.
We're still awaiting IIHS and NHTSA ratings for 2018 Equinox safety and security, but with so many improvements and advancements over the precious model-year (which scored well) we can only assume that the newest Chevy Equinox will bring home top ratings. For total peace-of-mind, you can equip your 2018 Equinox with the Confidence and Convenience II package, which includes automatic high-beam control, a 360-degree parking camera system, lane departure warning and mitigation, Chevy's Safety Alert seat, and forward collision alert with automatic low-speed emergency braking.
