Top-notch technology can be found within the interior of these vehicles, but you will notice a few key differences. For example, you may have heard of or even previously used Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. Both apps offer an awesome way to continue using your phone in a hands-free format, so you’re able to do such things as play a song or find directions.
While you’ll find Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity standard on the Chevy Bolt, they are unfortunately not available on the Tesla Model 3, so you won’t be able to maintain that same level of connectivity.
Additional connectivity can be found on the Bolt through the available 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot. With this technology, up to seven different devices can access the internet in order to maintain a connection when needed, whether that be for work or school assignments. Again, the Tesla Model 3 falls short in this area and does not offer a hotspot on its vehicle.

Cargo room is essential if you plan to travel often, whether with other passengers coming along for the journey or if you’re just going out solo. Being able to bring along specific gear for whatever activities you have planned is yet another important component to consider.
When looking at the interior dimensions of the two models, the Model 3 will be able to provide up to 15 cubic feet of space to store what you need. However, the Chevy Bolt provides a bit more. With all seats in use, you’ll still enjoy up to 16.6 cubic feet of room. This is great for those who plan to travel often on exciting adventures that may require specialized gear. With this amount of space, you can easily carry what you need.
Chevy Bolt vs. Tesla Model 3: Safety
Both the Bolt and Model 3 offer several safety features that will provide all-around protection. The Tesla does win out by providing some standard features that are only available on the Bolt. These features include automatic emergency braking, a blind spot monitor, and a frontal collision warning system.
The Bolt, though, offers some other features that you won’t find on the Model 3, such as Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Park Assist that will work to provide added guidance as you move the vehicle in reverse.
The Bolt is also the only one to offer standard Teen Driver technology, an innovative offering that allows parents to set specific controls within the vehicle to provide protection for newer drivers. With this feature on hand, you will be able to decide what warnings and limits to set involving speed and audio volume within the interior of the cabin. There’s also a Buckle to Drive feature, which will ensure the driver’s seatbelt has been fastened before taking off. Unfortunately, you won’t find such technology on the Model 3.
