The Mission of Leo’s Coney Island

Leo’s Coney Island was first established in 1972 when Leo Stassinopoulos and his brother Peter immigrated to Michigan from a tiny Greek village. From the very beginning, this duo has been dedicated to working hard in order to serve up food that is authentic and tastes so good it has you coming back for more.

Right off the bat, the Leo’s Coney Island team served a limited menu consisting of classic Coney Island hot dogs with chili, mustard, and onions, as well as Greek salads with their famous Greek dressing. However, in the 40+ years since its establishment, Leo’s menu has grown with their passion for the business. 

Much More than a Hot Dog Joint

At Leo’s Coney Island, they specialize in hot dogs. Keep things classic with one of their famous Coney Island hot dogs or switch things up a bit with a New York Hot Dog with grilled sauerkraut or a Chicago Hot Dog with tomatoes, onion, relish, and hot peppers.

Hot dogs are far from the only thing Leo’s Coney Island has to offer. Chow down on one of their famous Greek salads or one of their Greek specials like a chicken gyro, a chicken kabob, or spinach and cheese pie.
