The A/C compressor pressurizes the refrigerant, changing it from a liquid into a gas and pushing it through the system. If the compressor is worn or damaged, it will need to be replaced with a new compressor. We can also replace compressor pullies if that’s the culprit and the compressor is in good condition. The condenser turns the gaseous refrigerant into a liquid, releasing heat during this process.
