You’re in Hudson, MI and want the best Chinese food? Here are a few places we would recommend hopping into your Malibu and going the short driving distance to visit.
1. China Garden
In the Hudson area, China Garden is synonymous with taste and value. At only a 22-minute drive over in Adrian, MI at 1557 W Maumee St, what’s not to love? Get some shrimp rice or house special fried rice with your Chinese dish of choice. Don’t worry if the people you are dining with don’t enjoy Chinese food as much as you, they’ve got you covered, with chicken tenders and hamburgers coming right up.
However, Chinese food definitely takes up the majority of the menu. They have a huge variety of dishes and lots of vegetable and seafood options too. They have a kid’s menu and at China Garden what they do best is seafood so the cashew nut shrimp is a must-try item. They also have an array of combination platters which we think you’ll be going back for again and again.
2. Kam Wah 28
Kam Wah 28 is a wonderful all-rounder and is 35 minutes away in Wauseon, OH at 1432 N Shoop Ave: but it’s worth the drive. They do both dine-in and take-out, and they have chef specialties. Kam Wah 28 also has a wide variety of vegetarian options and a range of soups. Their dishes are very reasonably priced and you get a good value for money as the dishes are both tasty and have big portion sizes.
Kam Wah 28 offers dinner combos to take the stress out of choosing a meal. Kam Wah 28 is also open for lunch every day but Saturday and provides a distinctively different menu to their dinner offerings including a terrific sesame chicken. They do a variety of traditional Chinese appetizers including a crab Rangoon you won’t want to miss.
3. Golden Wok
This could well be the best food in the Hudson area. They pride themselves on producing authentic Chinese food cooked with the freshest ingredients. Golden Wok has new specialty dishes every day. They do dine-in and take-out and have an excellent reputation which has kept them open for decades.
Golden Wok is located 20 minutes away in Adrian, MI at 1002 South Main Street. As well as all the usual dishes you would expect from a Chinese restaurant, Golden Wok also has a selection of luncheon carry out a la carte dishes such as rainbow scallops, tofu with vegetables, and coconut chicken. Don’t forget about the wide variety of family dinner combos which help bring the price down that little bit more.
There is something for everyone in Hudson MI and lovers of great Chinese food won’t leave disappointed. These are just three marvelous choices for Chinese food in the surrounding area.
